A late filing changes the covered work
The registry accepts a late Preliminary Notice, but the notice does not cover work provided before five days after filing. The workflow preserves the actual submission timestamp so the job record does not imply earlier coverage.
Private and government projects match differently
A private project is matched with the county and tax parcel ID. A government project can use the SCR entry or Notice of Commencement number. The intake changes the required identifiers based on the saved project type.
