Confirm that the project is searchable

The State Construction Notices Directory covers projects where the improvement costs at least $1.5 million. A filed Notice of Commencement makes the project searchable. The directory project number is required before this order can reach checkout.

Count from first furnishing

A subcontractor files the Notice of Furnishing within 45 days after first providing labor or materials. The job file keeps the first furnishing date and calculated date beside the directory reference used for submission.

Use the directory's project record

The filing identifies the subcontractor, contracting party, work or materials, and project. Matching against the existing Notice of Commencement reduces the risk of attaching the notice to a similarly named job or nearby parcel.

No state filing fee is added

Pennsylvania's public filing instructions do not list a Notice of Furnishing fee. Checkout is $19 for preparation, submission handling, status tracking, and the returned directory confirmation.
